Nope.

Ask yourself this.

Would you marry a prostitute with 10 years experience?

He drove like a b*tch and kept missing shifts, but he didn't beat on the car. 1,000 miles is a LOT though, so I'd be wary...

I would def not buy it, but it's your call.
Yep that's what he's referring to. (He's my friend and I told him about it) Yeah i noticed a small scratch near the wheel well too. I would definately pay a little extra for the peice of mind.

it's not like it has 10k miles on it. Personally if you got a good deal on it, why not. maybe have them through in free maintenance on it. The Honda I just got rid of was rode hard from day 1 (8 miles) and had 60k when I got rid of it with absolutely no problems. Just my 2 cents.

Did you just compare a honda to a ?

To OP:

If it's a good deal and the car has the options you want. I say go for it! I've driven my evo hard from 5miles to 3500 right now. Only issue is the tranny. (I don't have second gear from 8am to 11:49am, yes it goes by time) but the MR doesn't have the same tranny.

My evo was built pre-all the flashes. I think(at least I like to) b/c of how I "broke" it in that none of the studdering issues attacked me. The engine is solid.

Just one thing, look at the tire-tread. If the tread is pitted at all, I'd demand new tires saying it would not pass inspection! Than cry.

Don't get excited because they are willing to go below "invoice". It's a freaking used car! Even worse; it's a demo! After 1000 demo miles, "invoice" is no longer relevant.

I would not touch that MR with a 10 foot test pipe.

It is very tempting.....but you guys are right....I guess I wouldn't want to deal with the headache if something actually goes wrong with it.
