If you are close enough to the border I would just buy one down south in the states and if you have any warrenty work just drive back and forth. Its almost a 1 to 1 between the U.S. and the CAD. You could pick up a MR with all optons for about 42-43K OTD. No law now states you can't do that. Let the Canadian dealers continue to shoot themselves in the foot. I bet if enough people started doing this you would see prices start to fall quickly. Just my .02

 

warrenty realy doesn't matter if your gonna mod your car anyways. So go to the states and get your MR for cheap

 

I could see awd and winter tires making an EVO attractive in the great white north, but GM will sell you a 430 hp vette cheaper than that(with incentives- can't believe they ask $69k for them-jeez). Maybe an awd VW r32 , I dunno- The MR is cool, but not enough to pay extra for.

 

Aren't the Canadian and American dollars worth roughly the same now? If so, why are they so much more expensive up there? I don't think they're even flying out of the showrooms down here. Damn...and I thought $40k was ridiculous

or buy a is 350 or put 5k more and buy a IS-F

 

**** I would have punched someone in the face if they told me 62 for the evo. I complained about 43 for the GSR.

 

Boycot that **** there are other cars out that will make you happy at 50k odds are the dealer has a cocaine habit that he needs to support.
