Hey guys,

We all know that Mitsu's warranty is unpredictable.

I am putting alot of miles on this car (it's fun damn-it) and while I plan on z-chip/clutch combo soon ....I won't be doing heavy mods for awhile.

Would it be worth it to go to an third-party warranty company like WarrantyDirect?

I used them for my 2000 BMW 323i that i got with 65K miles .. i had the "2 year $3700 tranny rebuild coverage" that i never used and i am now at 126K miles..LOL so i lost the $1800 the warranty cost .. Having never filed a claim i couldn't comment on that but they well well rated by the BBB at the time..

 

I had them for my charger r/t, no complaints until you try to leave wether trade in or sell car. They give you this lil runaround

 

Did you ever file a claim? If so, how was it handled?
