GEBUS man I gotta move. So long story short, i spent the day washing and polishing and waxing my car. I put on my license plate and went for dinner. As soon as i parked my car and walked out i saw this family walking out of the local subway. Right away my gut told me "BAD... VERY BAD... MOVE CAR NOW!" I turned around to look at the family as they approached their car that was adjacent to mine. I quickly walked back towards my car when the old lady opens the passenger door and *BAM* Flashes of memories of my last 2 month old evo getting hit almost in the same fashion leaving it with a ding. (Sued that b***rd and ended up on people's court ). I couldn't see any ding as it was dark in the parking lot, but that lady just continued on and got into her car and closed her door. I was like WHAT THE HELL???? The mom of the family walked over from the other side after helping her kid in and was like oh ... i'm sorry, wipes my car a little and walks away. I took a quick glance but i couldn't see any dents this time around but i'm sure her dirty butt colored car left some scratches. I'll just have to wait till i wash my car and see if it left any scratches. I hate my area, it's full of people who can't drive and people who just don't give a crap about other people's cars. AGHHH just needed to vent.

 

Always park in the boonies when possible. I hate parking near people with crappy cars. You know they just dont give a ****.

man i feel your pain my old evo 8 mr had 3 dings on both side of the back doors and one on my driver side.... but i been very cautious with my X i rather park far and make the long walk then risk a ding and see it on the car everyday

 

had the same problem with a lexus! i park far far away and where does this idiot park? right by me! small ding. cant see it from far away but noticeable, glad i have a white car. i feel like returning the favor and leaving a nasty note...wish i did

At least you were able to see while it was happening. Dents always just appear on my car and I'm like "WTF" Glad I park in the handicap stall whenever possible

 

The odds are pretty good because a lot of people are real ignorant. I always park far away for the most part but sometimes I fear parking far because it draws a lot of attention.

That's why I try to park away from everybody else to avoid parking lot ding wars. Some people just really don't give a F.

 

i did that and got a caved in quarter panel for my trouble.

 

Thats why you either key their car or if its real bad break out the knife and slash their tires.
