Warranty

Headed to the dealer soon to hopefully finalize everything on a WW or OBP GSR (I drove a RR GSR w/ navi, but I didn't want RR... thus, they are in search of either a white or blue one with navigation for me), but wanted to know what mods will void the warranty?

Mainly looking to do cat-back exhaust and a BOV, but don't want to mess around with the warranty at all.

TIA.

you will like the blue, thats the color i have and if they didnt have the blue i would have gotten the white. so great choices

i recently had to have a tc-sst transmission replaced on an 08. manufacture's defect. one of the first questions the regional rep asked was "is the car modded?"
the next was "are there signs of abuse?" no to both questions.
they flew in a new trans from japan and some transmission specialist from out of
town is assisting with the install. the old transmission goes back to east asia for
evaluation. the dealer can't even open it up to look at the issue. (shift fork actuator)
they gave me a rental for a week (dodge caliber ) and all i'm out is the gas.
total bill? $6000+. my expenditure? a half tank of gas. please try to keep your warranty if you don't have a nest egg of money for repairs.
so to answer your question, the service manager can say almost anything, but the decision to warranty a car comes from corporate. and they WILL try to find you at fault.
i guess my future mods are limited to a drop in. a catback is borderline. any intake mods, bov, or reflashing is a negative.
i hope this helps.
