I bought an Evo X MR to be my daily driver.

I love it. No, it's not as smooth as an automatic when it's in automatic mode, but that's part of its charm. I love the engine braking, the sequential downshifting, and the overall feel.

Sure, it can be slightly jerky, even in Normal mode, but that's because it's still a manual transmission. I've driven manuals for my entire life, and it just feels "right" to me.

What I'm really curious is if the transmission in the Ralliart is as sporty as the MR. I've driven in the MR and LOVED IT, too. Ralliart makes more sense for me though. Price and the folding seats are a must for a snowboarder. Anyone driven both yet? Simular feeling with driving, but just less ponies? Less boost?

I've been driving an automatic 04' WRX for the past 5 years. I have a feeling that the Ralliart is a completely different beast. It's gotta be 1-2 seconds faster. My car is losing a good bit of torque because of the torque converter and such. :/

so it sounds like the MR kinda sucks for city driving? That would be a ***** knowing that will be over 90% of my driving.

^Out The Door... including applicable taxes & fees.

Gas does get eaten up easily when city driving, but is bearable. I drive a few miles to & from campus a few times each day (in city), but my tank usually lasts me a couple weeks. It does fine in the city otherwise. The RA has the same rating for MPG in city as the MR.

You better get to the dealer and buy it. It won't last long at that price. Leave this thread alone and go buy it.

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. I've only done city driving with my MR, and I think it's fabulous.
