AMS Shop TIME ATTACK EVO X build Thread!
Keep in mind too how long a Nascar car is out on the track for. This car is setup for fastest lap in 10-20 minute sessions at a time. Different kind of conditions all together. Heat will not be an issue on this particular car. Again the back edge of the hood is open for heat evacuation and air will be able to enter the car at the front.

Good luck, it's a cool build.

Sorry, I was not trying to come off as argumentative either. Just providing some more details on the build. Thank you for the concern and taking the time to check out the build

It's possible that the air venting through the intercooler and then radiator exiting the top of the hood may help underhood temps. Assuming that some air will vent from under the car and out the back edge of the hood you wouldn't get that heated radiator air that is likely 120+ F but somewhat cooler ambient air even if it may be lower volume. Worst case you guys can put a couple vents in the front somewhere if needed, or an air diverter under the engine bay to ramp air up through to the back of the hood to create flow.
I love the smooth flowing ductwork and this car is going to make the competition look sickly when you get it out on the track!

Here is where Ivan has the car after day Three four and Five...MAN This guy works fast.
We are test fitting a set of Seibon Carbon fiber doors for the car and we also have a super lightweight hood and trunk in the way from them. We should have that mid next week.
Prototype Composites makes our CF roofs for us and has been so kind as to make us a Custom Carbon Kevlar super lightweight version for this X. We get to lay our eyes on that on Tuesday with pics to follow.
He has moved on to even more of the interior and has worked on one side of the doors. Pretty wild stuff
