Burning Oil?
Hey there ...

Just trying to see if the Evo X does well with NOT burning up oil?

My A4 2.0t with apr tune likes to gobble it up for some reason.

i have never had to even put any oil in it between 2000 mile changes

Mine is all good. 12k miles. Oil changes every 5k.

no oil consumption either.

my old srt4 used to gobble it up too and not to mention blow by and oil leaking from the ?intercooler? (confirmed by dodge). got rid of that POS with 36k miles.

My evo IX is a oil guzzler every 3-4 days it need a quart.

I have about 2k in mine, no oil burning whatsoever. I check every time i fill up the tank. At least is no visible in the stick.

thanks for the replies! my SRT8 is driven the same distances as the audi and that this is wonderful on the oil. it barely looks used when i check it.

It's not a guzzler - you just have a problem with your engine - lol. That's not normal in anybody's book.
