Anyone know of any upcoming changes to the X?

Mitsu newbie/Audi head here.

Looking to jump into a X, but wondering if there are any significant changes to look out for? i.e. GSR gets 6-speed manual, revised power, etc.

It'd be a damn good car to jump into right now, but if a year down the road something like a 6-speed box gets introduced, I'd be a little irked (granted the 5-spd is ample).

photos for your trouble

doubt they would do a 6-speed, it would probably take a lot of sales away from the MR. no power revision, only thing diff so far is the taillights and maybe the cup holder

yeah i dont think either they will put the 6 speed manual on the market.
That would be a Hara kiri to the Mitsubishi for the SST.

They might will change the 5 speed gearing as they usually did .
The power gain if they will have, can come the fixed ECU tune , /since the X got already 2 factory reflash/

doubt they would bring the rs over either, it would probably be too similarly priced to the ralliart

Don't get it, how would a 6pd manual kill an Auto?

The MR version comes with a 6 speed, which is a huge selling point. A six speed on the lesser model would take away from its sales.

Yeah, I seriously can't see people who want a manual picking an automated manual just because it has 6 speeds. The people who want the manual will get a manual, and those that want the auto will get the auto.

I would like to see a 6-speed, wonder why they didn't bring the old 6-speed over from the last MR...
