sadly to say its the weight the only thing that is stopping me from buying this car! now i wonder...why couldnt ive been in the market a couple of years before... this thing is heavy, looks similar to a mazda3/6, and now its automatic...
Nissan GTR weighs about 3900lbs and it made supercar of the year; 0-60 3.2seconds. Lotus Elise weighs 2000lbs 0-60 4.0 seconds yet the Evo came in two spots ahead of it on curvy roads and track. Connecting power to the wheels and having awesome handling is far more important.

All weight-saving isn't created equal. Reducing rotational mass - wheels, tires, rotors - has the most effect on performance, while reducing the weight of an exhaust (for example) with a low center of gravity has a minimal effect.

you can spend alot of money buying less weighted parts or you can start by stripping the interiors. you can remove alot of weight by stripping out the interior. don't forget the spare tire and jack too.

i don't suggest anyone doing that unless your car is a weekend track warrior.

1) I will start by reduce the limit my intake of burgers & fried chicken
2) 2-3 days per week workout at the gym or some running
3) Less or no suger in my coffee.

My personal target is to save about 20 pounds from my car using my above method....Best part is,the weight reduction stays that in every car I will drive. Best value if you ask me.

It's mainly for drag racing, you may want to ask them directly if it's ok for daily driving.

I agree, I think most drivers fail to realize that one of the biggest weight savings come from themselves!!! Stay slim kids.

It makes the ladies happy, more importantly you make the happy
