Yeah the small brake kits are fine for street and drag use for sure. I wouldn't ever dare trying to roadrace or romp on them repeatedly for an extended period of time that's for sure haha. I also have custom kirkey seats done up that weigh 19 lbs for each side if I recall correctly. That's for the seat and bracket. Removing the entire AC setup saves a lot for sure. I also figured out the part number, with some help from my buddy Dave(Articzap) so the AMS AC delete pulley is more or less completely useless. There's a lot of stuff that can be done that's for sure haha

I figured they would be find for daily and brief heavy breaking like drag being they are about 2" smaller than the stock rotors.

I just looked into the weight saving on that from STM and WoW almost 50 lbs form the stock setup in the front is HUGH!

That is pretty good on the seat weight with the base/ brackets included too.

I was looking at doing some Bride Zeta III's in my car to replace the stock seats.

Bride Zeta III Sport (None FIA Approved) weigh 12.79 lbs each.
Bride Zeta III+C (FIA Approved) weigh 15.87 lbs each.

Sparco Bases are roughly 10~lbs each and the Sparco Aluminum Side Mounts are 2 lbs for each seat.

I would be looking at about 24-28 lbs per seat setup, but be more than half of what the stock ones are.

I was originally going to go with Sparco Pro 2000's, but they are around 19 lbs each and a close toss up on the price.

AC will be removed once mine is not a daily as well and I know there is someone on the forums with an Evo X they daily in the 2700-2800 lbs range so I know its possibly to get them lighter with a lot more work

That would be chetrickerman. He's started cutting and gutting things from his car. Not that anything is wrong with that but if I started doing that I'd have the car around 2500. No joke

Goodness,
You must have had heavier crash beams than ours. Ours did not weigh 70lbs.

<3 the sarcasm. Is it exactly 70 lbs on the dot? Maybe not but you can still get 100 lbs out of the car from those 2 beams and a lithium battery. I guess I'll just bow out and keep to myself. I'll just go try to break some more records.
