All of those cars are base model GSR's, and you need to learn how to round - they are all $30k. That's the same deal almost everyone is offering for new base GSR's. This thread is about $29k used MR's. I still haven't seen proof, but like many others have said, right now is a great time to buy ANY car. Time will tell what the used X market will be, but being a specialty car I would imagine it's going to be like any other specialty car - it will hold it's value better than most cars at a certain point, but be harder to sell because you have to find someone looking specifically for it.

In case you have noticed from all the shut-downs, everyone is having problems selling every brand/model of car right now.

I paid 42,500 for my X MR and they didn't include the tech pkg. I've been contemplating suicide for a few months...

The Viii's and IX's may appear to be selling for a lot more, but actually seeing them on the lot, or listed somewhere doesn't mean they are selling for the prices advertised. My RS with 4,680
miles just sold for 23,3 after having it up from 25,000 then dropping it down, i'm making a bit of a profit on the car, but not much. Look on ebay... but look at the completed listings... not what people want for them and you'll find they aren't going for nearly what you think they are.

As with any car though, being wary! Especially for a first model car, with brand new features, and someone selling it cheap shortly after they've bought it. After having the X for a little, it just wasn't for me + too many little bugs.. But good luck OP! Just a friendly reminder to be careful!

The problem is that the average consumer does not have access to the prices the dealers pay for these cars at the auctions.

I'm surprised the VIII and XI are listed for so much, I would really like to know what they sell for though at a dealer.

KBB and edmunds may show car values, but these aren't true market value.

Here is a listing of some Evo's. Go ahead and see what these cars were bought for at auctions by dealers:

These are pretty self-explanatory. It shows the price they were sold for, mileage, condition, color, engine, and transmission.

You see, as some of us have driven all three USDM Evo designations, we're just too stupid to recognize the natural superiority of the car you bought.

Are you?
No, really, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, doesn't make them fanboys or diehards.

^ This is more like the kind of response that helps.......his opinion, but based on experience and not 2nd or 3rd hand knowledge.
