Again though, I see zero smoke, not just very little but none. The only boosted car I've seen produce smoke was a LGT with a blown turbo.

Canada doesn't have stricter emissions, I have no explanation for what you're seeing because no one I know has smoke issues.

I wouldn't, that is just wasting money.

Not everyone has a fixed up car or is catless, very small percentage of cars on the road I'd say. Many more things and countries to cry over.

Geez this post makes me miss my old 97 Supra cause if this post ever made it to Supra forums it would be hilarious. They would just be dumbfounded that a Supra owner would be so concerned of the enviroment. You mean to tell me on an EVO forum that someone is being ridiculed for running a test pipe. Granted it does have an annoying smell without a cat but good lord. The Evolution is one of the most highly modified cars on the streets and its a type of race car too. It just comes down to what you want in your car.

Im mostly just scared of the popo when it comes to this subject.

I dont think the tune will do much, most boosted cars without a cat will blow flames from time to time???

I understand the emissions argument. But in the big scheme of things I dont think it matters as much as others would like us to believe.

I live in So Cal and we have tons of people driving around in V12 exotics or even old hot rods that are polluting more than a catless evo ever would.

FWIW I plan on leaving the cat on the car because my wife does not like the smell and I dont want to deal with the pssibilty of getting cited for it, but if anyone else wants to run without a cat I am not going to get on their case about it.

I mean you are on a performance oriented forum, were most people would do whatever it take to make an extra 15hp specially for as little as a TP costs
