Launch control ,and flat foot shift??

Launch control ,and flat foot shift........are there any easy options to add this feature to the evo x?? If there are what might they be and where could one procure one of these beauties?

Note: I do know this was an option on one model, just not the one i am working on..........

press asc off once, clutch in, foot on gas, rpm goes to a steady 5500. release clutch, insane launch!

thats the basic concept, practice is required or you will burn the clutch.

Thank you , talked to Perrin today and they said the same thing. Pretty much the stock launch is set a bit high ,and that we can alter it with the Cobb tuning port,so thats cool ,what about flat foot shifting or WOT shifting?

I was also wondering about WOT shifting, this is a feature I miss about my SRT-4.

I asked Robb@COBB Tuning about no-lift/flat foot shifting and if I'd be a tunable feature in AccessTuner Race, and he said "not currently but it may be something they consider in the future". I suggest that people start putting in the request for it so they know it's in demand!

We've had NLTS for the Evo 8/9 for a long time now, I'm sure it won't be too long before you X guys can have it too

The problem with this statement is that you need to practice an act that needs to be performed perfectly (even the first time). From all Ive read, you start the process then when the rpms set, you let out slightly on the clutch, letting the car roll forward just a bit then quickly let out (not too fast, not too slow). I havent tried it cause I dont want to buy a new clutch. But I did do the first part (let the rpms set) then let out on clutch just a bit to slightly move forward, and instantly the cabin filled with the foulest of odors. My Z was so much easier to launch!

no idea...everything is bad for the car if we drive it hard. probably hurts the transmission more then the motor.
