What can I replace the spare tire with?

This might be a stupid question, but can I replace them with a inflation kit or something? I have 19 inch rim on my car, if I were to use the spare tire, wouldn't it screw up my diffs? I am hoping to lose some weight, that is all

Foam block, nothing, air pump...towing insurance.

Correct, running that spare now will cause issues.

In my old mach 1 to save weight when I went to the strip, I ran a styrofoam block that fit in the wheel wheel for the spare, and I carved out a section in it for a can of fix-a-flat.

if weight was your concern, why did you go with a 19 inch rims?

It wasn't my biggest concern, I read that in other countries, the evo came with inflation kits instead of a spare tire. Since I have 19 on my car, I have no use for my spare tire anyways, if I bought it up, it will most likely blow a differential.

I don't think it will blow the differentials. You see cars with donut spares all the time. I had a 4x4 with a smaller spare the worked for a short while without blowing the differential. Of course, those were all two wheel drive situations, but I still think the car will be fine as long as you aren't racing.

Did you not keep the same rolling diameter when you picked up the 19's and tires???? If not your speedo is off now and your gearing will be affected as well. If the rolling diameter is the same no need to worry about using the stock spare with the 19's
