Waiting to get a EVO X this summer for a DD instead of the Scion tC.
Yup, we should definitely meet up. There is a lot of AutoX events going on starting March / April if you are interested taking the Eclipse or X out for a bit of fun. PM with the info and we can meet up at QS & L

Brake Air Guides
The brake air guides are easily broken off under the car, they hang down about 2.5 inches or so. They are VERY expensive to replace considering what they are. Mine have both gotten broken off by the snow when backing up by chunks of snow. Next year I will remove them before winter hits and reinstall in the spring.
Just all seasons and you're good to go! So far no issues with paint chips or the rubber piece on the aero falling off. And I will be going with coilovers for the reasons discussed. I don't want to have a permanent drop, winters would be tough...
But it sure is fun:

I think you should be fine with the Aero kit on depending on how deep the snow is. I lost my rubber piece (or knocked half of it off) by plowing through about 3 inches of snow on the highway last year. The rest of the body kit was fine and I just took of the rubber part off altogether. I think I'm going to keep that piece off and probably get a diffuser.

^ very nice. However it seems that the Aero kit does lower the car body quite a bit. But it doesn't seem to stop many people from driving it in the winter.

Maybe see you in a week or two, whenever you guys have a meet going on.
