Window tint scratches; window struggles to move.
Actually the Tint Protector moleskin helps the window move more easily up and down. You won't get scratches either
Not true, I have it and my tint is scratching and it was installed per tint protector instructions. It just ended up being a waste of time. No problems with the glue making a mess though, just useless for stopping scratches. I've seen that some people actually cut the second, lower rubber strip off but not sure what other problems that may cause.
That's weird. 99% of people say the moleskin stopped the scratches dead.
I wonder if you had a huge rock jammed into the moleskin. Nothing could stop the scratches in that case.
The lancer doesn't have super tight door panels.
You are the first person to say it didn't work for your car. Wonder why...

No big scratches, just tons of little ones like in some of the pics others have posted. I understand your skeptecism because I thought it would work too, but it didn't, at least not for me. Maybe it has to do with the type of tint used, I don't know. I do know that I'm a perfectionist and literally took several hours to make sure everything was super clean and installed correct. I've seen others that had the same experience as me before I did it and I chalked it up to a poor install but now I just think you should expect to retint every couple years when the scratches get too excessive because its going to happen no matter what.
