30psi boost

Okay I installed my hallman MBC and set it for 30psi it peaks but drops hard,now I know thats normal but what has to happen so I can hold 30PSI ? sorry for my lack of knowledge but just wondering.

First off - don't do that. You cannot just turn up the boost. That will blow the motor.

Contact a proper tuner/shop.

what are your mods? dont tell me you installed and just turned it up with no tune or supporting mods

Take the MBC off. Take it to a professional and please make a serious effort to learn more about your vehicle. The resources are only a few strokes of the keyboard away.

May as well just disconnect the vacuum line that leads to the Wastgate and go as much boost as the turbo will spin...

But in all seriousness I wouldn't go over 25 PSI unless you have the car tuned and setup by a professional. A brief spike above that before it settles is fine, and the turbo will naturally taper boost above 5500 RPM's anyways no matter how high you set it.
