HID plug and play kit in non sss

I know there has been alot of discussion regarding this topic but I want to be clear. I have a Candian GSR evo and I would like to install an HID plug and play kit. Will this work? Can I just pull my drl fuse to disable the flickering?

I just want to make sure they will work perfectly.

I'm not sure if the X headlights are different than the IXs, but I used a plug/play kit that I got off eBay for $70 and it works fine in my IX. I had the non-ss GSR.

They flicker when the headlights aren't on. You have to drive around all the time with your hids on. Disabling the drls isn't as easy as pulling a fuse. I think someone on here got some sort of anti flicker kit and I guess it worked? I'm not sure.
