international bankwire?

ok so i sold my evox to a guy over in Europe.. i will be doing an international bank wire.. has anyone or know anyone that has done a international bank wire?? any help or tips would help.. thanks!!

no.. first off how am i going to get scammed??? he will send me the money and once i get it take the money outta the account and close the checking account.. i opend a new checking account jus for the money to go into.. i dont feel how i will get scammed??

Be careful with this one. If the money is in any way counterfit you are responsible for paying it back to the Bank. I would be VERY hesitant with this transaction.

no this is thru ebay... wouldnt the bank know if the money is counterfeit when they receive it??

Yeah...I've wired money from my UK account to my US account. It's a little bit complicated. If I remember correctly you have to specify from which currency to which currency etc. The UK bank will use a clearing house in New York first to convert the money and then that clearing house will forward it to your account. It was a real pain in the derriere when I did it. Maybe it's easier now.

My suggestion would be to call say BoA and ask to speak to a wire transfer expert. They should be able to help you out.

there are alot of ppl ive spoke with on ebay that have done them and have had no probs.. once i receive the money they cant reverse it, get their money back etc.. i feel its safe.. i wouldnt send him money tho..

When the funds clear and get deposited in your account you are fine. The bank will always verify funds before they make it available to you. If your still not sure speak to your bank.
