Hands Down a test pipe will yield the best bang if you can you tune it again. It is the # 1 bottle up in the stock system. If you want to totally scale out, get a ichuba test pipe 119.00 (fleabay) and a cheap uicp, all for under 3 beans.

do u have a website for fleabay? ive never heard of it before. And i cant find inchuba as a brand on google search

I don't want to thread-jack or anything, but won't a test pipe produce problems on the stock exhaust? How does eliminating that cat affect noise/emissions (or that fuel smell I read about)? What about CELs?

I just ask because I may want to go the same way as the OP, this is relevant info to me.

The Ichiba test pipe I found was THIS ONE

My vehicle is sitting stock other than a KN drop-in.

There is nothing you can do about the smell. As far as the cel, it depends on which test pipe you use. Some of them have the cel fix already build in, and some of them you have to add it.
