"stock for stock the 370Z will waste a EvoX"

Waste???? that's a harsh word, considering the Evo's able to walk all over an STI, 911 S, Lotus Elise, even the G8 GXP supercar and stand behind an R8 by a couple seconds on a track course;

Considering the fact that I can beat stock 350's with my fatty Ralliart... I don't see the 370 WASTING an Evo X...

A bit more research is always a good thing
The X has less power and weighs more. The 0-60 time is only because of the AWD. The WRX beats the 370 to 60 too, that dosnt mean crap on a track

Next year it is definitely going to be an MR with the lip spoiler for me. I love the sleeper look and think the X looks better without the wing.

Call me crazy but i'm really excited about the SST on the track. I'm hoping they make some 'air flow' changes to help the SST from over heating.

Not even close. Nobody ever mentions that the 350Z always lost to the RX8 in pretty well any comparison ever done between them as the RX8 will run circles around it on a small windy track much like an EVO would. Mazda and Mitsubishi know how to make cars that almost handle for themselves. 350Z and 370Z are raw handling cars. Rewarding for a professional driver but harder for the average driver to take to it's limits. If you consider yourself a very good driver you may prefer the 370Z's more exciting limits compared to the EVO X where the car does some of the handling itself. Also how much engineering does it take when they have been using the same basic engine in all Nissans for over ten years now?

As well it sometimes comes down to geographics. 350Z's are slow in my part of the world (3400+ ft. above sea level) where turbocharged engines have the advantage of making their own atmospheres. It's go turbo or go home up here.

Yeah i know that's a stretch, and you're right, the Z06 and up are Super Cars; not that piece of crap GXP... but hey, Chevy said it not me ... or was it edmunds???

You're suddenly agreeing with every single thing I said... re-read my post

Or, are you trying to tell me the 370Z outperforms the Evo X in the Handling Department?

hum,

I'm disappointed but happy that my choice is clear. I love my Evo 8 but Mitsu has lost me to the 135i.

I think I may pick up a 2010 X... My VIII has too many rattles. I think I'm getting older and want more of a quick luxurious car. I think the X may be right up my alley. Main reason I love my VIII is handling, if the X is even close in handling i'll be happy.

Not to derail, but how has everyone's X been holding together? No rattles?

I wonder if there is anything else on that list they may have added that is small and didn't list it, such as more sound proof?

Really? My car has been surprisingly rattle free and at times I actually drive with the stereo volume low just to listen for rattles.
