Thanks for the post!

I was really hoping for a 6 speed manual, with a taller 6th....
As well as: more HP/TQ, maybe some changes to the turbo?

I was expecting to see delta between the 2008 and the 2010 to be like the 2003 vs 2005 VIII's. But there really is no mechanical difference between an '08 and the '10. I'm disappointed but happy that my choice is clear. I love my Evo 8 but Mitsu has lost me to the 135i.

I want the LCD screen . . . maybe it'll be a biotch to swap or even find/buy, unlike most people here are wishing!

I have the console piece with the lid on order & the side skirts are listed in our catalogs now -- just cant order them yet. So I cant even see pricing.

Wow mitsu. No performance changes??? They better sell at a huge discount or else I will buy either the 370Z or 135i.

I'm sick of waiting for the '10s already. Anyone have any idea when they might be announced/released?

Also why would you take it off?
I used to love my rear wiper on my '06 IX MR. Really comes in handy when it is raining and you are trying to reverse out of a spot in a parking lot.

Seriously. I mean, sure most of the buyers who get themselves this type of car do end up modifying them in some way. But for alot of people, they leave them stock. And for the most part, the the evolution's current pricepoint, it is definately underpowered

Mitsubishi Evo...................291 HP
Subaru STi..........................305 HP
BMW 135i/335i...................305 HP
Nissan 370Z.......................332 HP
Ford Mustang GT................315 HP
Dodge Challenger..............425 HP
Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS....304/425 HP
Hyundai Genesis.................306 HP
Pontiac G8/GXP...................361/415 HP

And i'm sure if I keep brainstorming, I could think of a few more.

Sure, most of these are in slightly different categories as the Mitsu, but they're still all performance cars. Mitsu really needs to to catch up to the rest of the industry as far as power goes.

I'll be happy with the output of the FQ-330. Nothing too crazy.
