Model Info: 2010 Evolution X
Nice to see the new models aren't going to have change in motor, suspension or brakes...
I bought my GSR 3 weeks ago here in Canada, and they just gave it to me. I was told by the director i was the guy that would drive the less expensive EVO in Canada at this price ! Director is a friend !
i had an 08 GTS Lancer that they bought back from me without any lost for me on my financing...
For the LCD, i will have to talk about it when i see it for real... i like the red a lot, but if i prefer the colour one, there will probably be a way to make the switch !

It's great that the 08 buyers don't have to endure instant buyers remorse as the 08 and 2010 models are pretty close. But don't kid yourself about the price. 2 Years of depreciation is huge for a car and the 2010 will be a great deal. I waited for the 2010 and I'm glad I did. The 08's are a great bargain now, but I'd rather have the current car.
In any case....Any Evo X is great.....

To each his own, but I'm not paying the premium for a 2010 when I can buy a new 2008 X for as much as $10,000 cheaper! I'd rather spend $2K on a new set of wheels/appearance mods, $2K worth of performance mods and a tune to get 325whp & $1K in electronics like a Carputer... still saving $5K in my wallet!
yup, the 08 resale values will actually go up once there are no more new ones available at awesome prices. Then its back to supply demand, and if people cant afford 36-40k for a 2010 they will be in the market for a 30k used 08 model. Evos only come out every 1-2 years and its not like the 2010s have any performance upgrades. These cars dont depreciate the way most other econoboxes do.
I'm keeping mine as close to stock as possible so its worth maximum value come trade in time for a 2014 model evo if that ever happens

Also even tho the car is still considered new because its never been titled it is still old and I don't believe the dealer can still sell the car for sticker as we are in 09. This is why your saving.
But your still limited to color choice..and package's. I wouldn't want a car that's been sitting on a dealers lot for almost two years without having the proper wash's waxing..plus multiple people moving the car driving exc.

Who cares what's old new and new new... They'll all become old old anyways.... All that matters is that I got want I want and I'm happy with the purchase.
It's like buying a pair of Nike shoes in an outlet store on a Black Friday. They're all new but you'll never know if somebody has already tried that one particular shoe you like and you don't really care about it's mileage from "test fittings" minus the odometer. Damn, who knows if they got some kind of foot bacteria or something. You know they've been sitting on shelves for who knows how long, but still you end up picking it up and swiping your credit card at the counter for your new old pair of shoes and will eventually suffer from normal use, collect dirt and end up being an old old pair of shoes.
Whatever... You get the point....

i bought my evox last week and it only had 13 miles on the odometer and was the exact option combination i wanted. didnt let the dealer know that, lol
i did get lucky though, there are on a few dozen left on the entire eastern seaboard

Exactly, thats what the dealer I talked to said, they are only getting half as many as the 08s. With evos its all supply and demand, there were lots of 08s and not much demand as the economy bottomed so mitsu had to offer insane incentives. There will be fewer 2010s to go around therefore prices can stay up.
