i didn't read the entire thread, just the first 4-5 pages but why would they make a touring package for the MR and not the GSR? it seems like the GSR buyers would be more likely to add a touring package (which essentially decreases performance) than the MR people would. i thought the MR would stay track-oriented, while the GSR might offer more luxurious options. definitely confused.

Packages are for customization usually. Just get what you need and want.
problem is, someone like me would want all the luxury features of the touring package but you can only get them on an MR which doesnt have a true clutch pedal manual transmission, thats why i just decided to go with an 08 GSR SSS for well below invoice instead of waiting for a 2010 which isnt really an upgrade

exactly, and then like 6mos later it will become "well here we will give you a deal 36k for the 2010 or if thats too much we have a nice used '08 with 10 thousand miles on it for just 33k." Heck us 08 owners may be able to make money on our cars if we sell them in a year.

ohhh dear....more weight for sure
make it loose 500 pounds you will have 1000 evos more sold than putting rain sensors
