This is correct; same happened to the Ralliart in September 2008; local dealer has also confirmed September 09 for all 2010 models

Doubtful. Doesn't sound like they made any drivetrain / engine changes

Read somewhere that there's probably going to be only 1,800 2010 EvoXs that are going to be imported this time... so if you guys are looking to get WW, you might have to put down a deposit to get dibs on one. Pretty sure that color is going to sell out real fast.

No idea, someone posted it here before... but it does make sense. Economy is in a slump with no signs of getting better. People aren't buying cars. Mitsubishi lost millions in profit on the 2008 Evos. Dealers closing left & right. All car manufacturers are at least cutting production by half. Evos are not in demand to your average buyer (only to enthusiasts). I could go on & on :-)

Absolutely no reason for them to import Evos more than they should. Look on the bright side, at least Mitsu didn't pull the plug :-)

Nah I understand why, just 1800 seems really super low.

^ It is... perhaps they are hoping that buyers would actually pay at least MSRP (or more) given the limited numbers... so their dealers can grab a little profit to survive this sh1ty economy & Mitsu Finance can also get some decent interest rates on new car loans?

Honestly, around here at least... i blame the dealerships for shutting down. I went to Beaverton mitsubishi with cash in hand to buy an Evo X, and they put a 10k mark up on it. It's the mark up that kills it. When they do things like that it makes me not want to even deal with them. I ended up buying an Evo VIII instead. Now i'm back in the hunt for a X

LOL @ those kind of dealers... well, it's all about timing too. Mitsu imported a ton of 2008 Evos (to make up for skipping 2007).... 6 months later, the US economy hit the crapper, all car brands suffered slumped sales (still happening today). For the past 4 months, it has been the best time to get a new X due to massive discounts & 0% APR... get yours fast imo, before they run out and the deals go away.

They won't make the same mistake on the 2010s, thus the limited numbers.

Evo X MR 2010 is factory underrated!!

Got the DSPort mag (latest issue) and their dyno shows the MR doing 320+ horses!!!!
