What do you mean? What we are talking about is 320+ at the crank from the factory with no tune.

For the past 4 months, it has been the best time to get a new X due to massive discounts & 0% APR... get yours fast imo, before they run out and the deals go away.

They won't make the same mistake on the 2010s, thus the limited numbers.
I agree on most of what you said.. and it does make sense economically and financially but then again, there isnt a color selection any more. Here on the west coast the only color you can find is RR!. For me, the color ive always wanted is WW, thats the reason why i havent jumped on these GREAT deals... I feel like if i get an RR or one of the last few remaining silver evos wont make me 'complete' as cliche and retarded as it sounds. Yea itll be an evo, but it isnt in the color that i want.

Yes, crank power, stock from Factory, 2010 model; I have the magazine in my car; let me get a good ol' scan and post it...

btw, yes it's on a DynoJet... I suppose those are also underrated aren't they?

Looks like all they did was tweak the factory mapping. Nothing new. 08's came with horrible mapping...i'm sure a little tweak could've put up the same numbers. Car's probably running more efficiently which the stock 08 wasn't.

Yup. We have 3 Mitsubishi dealerships within 30 miles of here, and they all wanted $5-10k markup when I got mine. One was even "kind" enough to tell me they thought they could get the all-season floor mats thrown in as a freebie. I told them what South Coast wanted and asked if they would match my shipped price, and 2 of them literally laughed at me, and the other thought I was lying.

So, I bought from South Coast and had it shipped across the country, saving something like $5k over the lowest local price (even including the substantial shipping cost).

One time I visited the parts department and they were wondering why I didn't buy one from them...

And throw that same car on a dynapack and you'll probably see 330+bhp. Then throw that same car on a dyno dynamics and you'll see 290bhp. Dyno's are just tools for tuning; baseline numbers are used to determine how much power a given mod(s) will give you.

+1 what he said. But if they did a direct same day comparison to an evo x 2008 vs the evo x 2010... then they'd have something there.

I could believe that if it was a GSR but that seems awfully high for a stock MR.

I think I'm going to put a down payment now if they are only going to get 1800 of them in the US.

I dont know.. their 2008 Evo X GSR was measured at 295.7 crank horse power, and it's advertise at 291, so that's about right compared to sticker numbers; remember these are crank horses they're measuring

They also have an '09 'Rex reading way over it's factory advertise numbers, around 280 horses;

crap I can't scan this thing now :S my scanner is acting up like always
