On the urge of ordering a new car! should i wait for 2010 x or go straight ahead and order a GSR 09? i have to pay regular price but going to talk to the dealer and see if they throw in the SSS Package.

I bet the idiot who paid 52k for an 2008 MR is really kicking himself right about now...
The car that I bought originally had a $10,000 mark up (claimed it was because of the aero kit). Ended up getting the car for $500 under invoice.

The main concern i have is if they changed the paint or not. I heard the paint chips easily on the 2008 / 09. Also the changing of the skirts may prevent some chipping.

Could also get some rallyarmor mudflaps.

doubt the paint will change, it's not just Mitsubishi, the whole world now uses water based paints, it's just not resiliant. My X is covered in 3M film, no chips for me! Flaps are a must for any X imo

Ahh i didn't realize all of them used poor paint. Guess it makes sense. The one thing I'm worried about the 3m film cover is the paint fading at different rates. I've been using that stuff for 15 years on my MX bikes. It works great. But it sucks when it lifts and gets water underneath it.

I posted this on the previous page:

"Just left a message on Mitsubishi Motor's facebook page on when '10s would be available and I got a response saying they should hit showrooms in September.
Just thought I'd let everyone know."

Is there any solid pricing numbers on the 2010s yet?

That's a big gap between are / were. They are basically giving evos away right now. I really can't decide if I want a sunroof so badly that I want to spend an extra 5-7k on a 2010 over a 2008. That's if they are selling for only MSRP.

I really just meant MSRP will be about the same. I'm not taking into account interest rates, discounts etc. I would imagine the 2010 MSRP's would be about the same: $33,710 for the base GSR and $39,010 for the base MR (both numbers include the $720 for destination/handling).

look for a bump of $500-1000 for the MSRPs across the model line up
