Model Info: 2010 Evolution X
either case, just clear bra your rear door impact area. problem solved
IMHO, there really is no reason to wait for the 2010s, if you want an X, now is the best time to buy and take advantage of huge discounts and no interest financing. Unless you are willing to pay many thousands more for the little differences on the 2010s and regular interest rates of 5-7%. If you're a smart & practical buyer, you'll know which path to go.

"Improved E-TACS functions, including windshield comfort washer function"
I wonder this is like?
"Newly styled high-contrast meter design with full color LCD Multi-Function Information Display (MID)"
I wonder how this looks like? I might get one. Full color would be awsome.

I like the mono red theme of the X's MID... if I wanted a color display, I might as well spend $1K for a carputer and full LCD head unit that would display digital readouts using Evoscan, now that would be cool as hell... give it the GT-R MFD look!
I know all US-spec Evos from 2003-2010 are made in Japan and imported here in the US. Hence, you can't compare pricing stability on 2010 Evos to 2010 locally made cars. What I was driving at is this: the economy started crapping out last year and thus Mitsu wouldn't be producing and importing as many 2010s as 08s, thereby the crazy deals you are seeing right now on the 08s will probably not be seen on the 2010s.

Another thing if you buy an 08 you better keep it, since you will have 2 years of depreciation.
If the 2010 EvoX had performance upgrades like say an optional 2.4L 4B12T engine or a 6-speed manual transmission, now that would be awesome; certainly worth the wait and thousand $$s more on the pricetag. Convenience & luxury upgrades mean sh%t to me, I didn't buy an Evo for those trivial things.
