For me handling is primary, So what i did was bought loudest turbo back exhaust + Test pipe
What you could do is to buy MUSCLE car and hire Michael Schumacher to drive it for you, Still I'm pretty sure it wont even be close as evo's handling
The most vocal members of the North American import crowd are usually not inclined to buy Detroit iron for any reason, but those of us who like V8's are usually a little bit quiet because it tends to create arguments. The same can be said for the American only car buyers who think you are unpatriotic to buy other cars...

I personally have two other vettes and I have to say they are way cheaper to run than the evo. Got a 1995 and a 2008..standard models, nothing special..well, I mean the 2008 pulls 116 or 117 mph in the quarter mile with no mods, but you know..nothing special.

I have really considered getting a 2007-08 C6 vette.... Looked up all the numbers etc... I could easily do it with a little saving, but the hard part is selling the evo (not wanting to lose even more money on a trade in)

I will NEVER buy "Muscle". I wouldn't even consider it.

Obviously none are in the same price range as the X, and I can't afford them anyway. But if there are any cars that make me feel inferior in my Evo, it's those three.
I trust U have seen the track comparo of the X to the R8? (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...s-pond-us.html) . 0.4 sec diffential with reasonable mod's in FQ 400; still feel "inferior" in UR X when a R8 pulls up?......Don't any more!
BTW the GTR(stock) head to head on track could not get away from a modded X (video on EVOM somewhere awile ago). I would like to see the GT2 against a X( with similar bhp) on a track; the AWD of the X may counter balance the weight differential....but guessing here.

Later, Ken
