What car would you trade in the X for:
I trust U have seen the track comparo of the X to the R8? (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...s-pond-us.html) . 0.4 sec diffential with reasonable mod's in FQ 400; still feel "inferior" in UR X when a R8 pulls up?......Don't any more!
BTW the GTR(stock) head to head on track could not get away from a modded X (video on EVOM somewhere awile ago). I would like to see the GT2 against a X( with similar bhp) on a track; the AWD of the X may counter balance the weight differential....but guessing here.

yes... there is a local with one.... its the 5.2l v10 similar as to what the lambo lp560-4 has. google it for pics and stuff. still though its like 145k. I think an evo with 100k in mods would crush a v10 r8 but in the end which one gets you laid?
right now i love mine and would prob only trade it in on my old VIII only because it was a lot faster but i am getting the X there lol. i love the rotor glow orange X havent seen another one yet

the lambo is faster than a nissan gtr on the track which dominates an fq-400 in every area and the v10 r8 is only slightly slower than the gtr. still not seeing the connections here. quattro is still one of the best awd systems out there. anywho I still rater an rs4 or gtr over any evo.

BTW I have not seen GTR (stock) head to head with an FQ400 on a track BUT I did see a modified EVO X (not crazy stuff like AMS time attack car) on the tail of a GTR and in the straights the GTR pulled away some but in the corners the X was right there waiting for the heavy, heavy GTR (and that is saying something given the weight of the X) to get through.

Got any track results for R10 vs EVO X FQ? Nurburgring? Anything? If not, then the point is just speculation. Also, I disagree on Quattro being better than SAWD; I know they have fundamental differences but Mitsu system has always been at the forefront of Rallying; Audi quite a long time ago; whether the latter has kept up to the design and refinement Mitsu has is doubtful but I am speculating here.

there is a video around the net here somewhere (search) that shows the gtr vs fq400 in some various test including lateral g,s braking and acceleration the fq lost in every category (not by much) even then it costs about the same at the gtr (well a little less) and is not nearly as nice and technically advanced as the gtr. yes the gtr is heavy but it still gets it fat *** around the track quicker somehow.
I guess the point here is that I love the evos I have owned 2. but in the end its still an over engineered economy car built for the track, with little comfort fit and finish. I choose not to be a fanboy of the evo because I know that there are better designed cars out there even though they may not be as much as a bargain.
Audi S4 or RS4
BMW 335i - M3 (e46/e90)
Lexus IS-F
Lexus LS-F!!! (If only I had $400 grand.)
Nissan Skyline R34
Toyota Supra ('98) TT
Corvette C5/C6
Too many cars out there I'd love to own and drive everyday.

GT-R as far as performance... if I wanted performance and good economy I might try the new 335d 425ft lbs of torque 0-60 in 6 seconds and 36 mpg highway... although diesel is WAYYY higher than even premium gas right now... so really it might not equal out to much numberwise.
Also like the 335i as well
RS4 as other have mentioned
new 911 turbo
ultimately I love my car though and will likely be keeping it for a long time unless I run into severe money problems again.
