Actually its a kit car made by Superformance in Plano TX. They are the only license replica Shleby Cobra builders from Carroll Shelby. They were at the Dallas Auto Show a few years back. I spoke with the sales rep, he stated they can build a 500hp 427 with a 6 speed fully built car for $60,000. Thats painted, built, out the door. I heard that the AC 427 Cobra was the fastest/quickest street car until the Dodge Viper came out. But I have yet to find actual proof on that.

The Cobra replicas are a lot of fun. I got to drive one of the Superperformance cars for a day on the track at Morosso (now PBIR). It was a smaller engine car (no where near 500 hp), but you could spin the tires in the three first gears. Very torquey and a lot of fun to drive!!
If I were to trade my X for something, I would go back to the Boxster S or get a Cayman S.

Man i traded in my 370z for the Evo. The evo's an all around better car. I got alot more attention in the Z, but that got old quick. Too many punks trying to race and trying to get my attention. i couldnt stand the two seats and RWD. The handling on the Evo is better. Plus i got a way better deal on the Evo.
