Bad Day need advice
^ agreed.. I have my first 2 rock chips, 1 on the front edge of the hood and the other is right above the left rear fender. Both chips are down to the metal. I work at a dealership and we have a guy who professionaly fixes rock chips, mixes his own paint, touches up the chip and buffs with a rubbing compound to try to blend the best he can. He's pretty reasonable and I'm sure he can do a much better job than I can with a touch up pen.
thats too funny ! I personally would touch it up. Some folks are definitely perfectionists. I had a friend that burnt a spot on his hood (1/2inch) and he painted the whole damn thing cos he's so **** about his cars !

what ever you do you want to stay away from thoes pens used once on the fender for a small cip and you can see where i used the pen. if the spot is worth the money to you take it in a get it taken care of
p.s. the pen was from the dealer does not match the pait
