Scratch on WindShield

Lastnite I was driving on the canyon with my friends. After I got home I noticed a long deep scratch(not crack) about 3-4 inches long on the upper edge of my driverside windshield. Can someone recommand me what kind product/brand I should get to fix this?

thanks

you can buy glass polish.. the kind we use is kind of an orange/brown powder that we mix with glass cleaner.. there is a special buffing wheel that you use on a drill... be warned, you can burn the glass and cause a distortion in it

Is that cerium oxide. Can you give me an advice on how not to cause distortion (slow speed little pressure ???). Or is it better for a noob to use another glass polisher (with aluminum particle diamond dust etc) that will not cause distortion.
