Redline fuel system cleaner
I used it in my previous cars and had good results. When I sold my BMW at 135K miles, the engine was as powerful as the day I got it new.
I plan to use it on my Evo X MR too. But I thought I should ask first as I've never owned a car with a turbo charged engine. Is is a good idea to use Redline fuel system clean in Evo X? Thanks.

I'm against using any type of fuel system cleaners. Except for cleaning the EGR system. If you use a high quality gas, and change out to another high quality gas every 5000 miles or so, you shouldn't have many deposits built up. You'll always have carbon build up... cant get away from that.

I like Techron Concentrate, not the pro-gard stuff. I'd google for techron and see for yourself - I think it's one of the main fuel cleaners that has been extensively used and tested.

So I used a bottle of Redline fuel cleaner and noticed better gas mileage with the next tank of gas. My daily commute is about 20 miles each way, mostly freeway, and can be congested at a few locations. I typically get 22 mpg, and on a good day I can get 24 mpg. Not bad....
Yesterday, after refueled, I drove to work and got 28.1 mpg!!
