Any updates on this? I still haven't seen a mounting location I really like. The Agency Power one is nice, but I have my iPod there. The CP-e one is very clean, but it seems like it'd obstruct your view and glare off the windshield. I don't like pillar mounting at all.

Maybe I'm just too picky? I'd really like something like this quick mockup using an image posted by migs647 earlier in the thread:

Perrin gets close, but manages to ensure you can't hit either spot using their adjustable arms.

I purchased and installed the CPE pod and quite like it. Very easy to check your gauges since it is right there in your field of view, but I also attached the 12v power so I can turn the gauges off for long drives at night where it may be distracting.

Heh @ using my image.

I wish they made this for the USDM evo http://www.rhdjapan.com/catalog/prod...olution-60677/ and they made a good radio relocation kit for the USDM evo. If they did I think I'd be pretty set.

C'mon Gizmo Here you go. No obstruction on important OEM gauge info.... BTW, the pic doesn't show it but the Gear Position and AWD mode is still visible with this gauge pod configuration

Went with Perrin, but Rexspeed has a pillar option as well.

Anyone see the Rexpeed steering wheel mount?

I had one just like it in my OZ Rally years ago.. but it seems like it might get in the way of the center display of the X.

Hmm... I guess it can hit the spots I was looking for, or nearly so, anyway. I may have to reconsider. Of course, then I'll need a second gauge . Does that screw into the steering wheel cover? Looks like it.

Any idea where I can get a cheap replacement for the cover? When I permanently modify something, I like to keep an unmodified spare around in case I want to go back to stock...
