Gauge pod options

Yeah, the final CP-E result looks great, but the pictures are scarce. I had planned on ordering one as soon as they became available, but I wanted to see a picture from the driver's position looking out over the street (instead of just a garage). I'm just waiting on someone to get theirs installed, since CP-E didn't take one like that.

Yeah, you can get a pair of gauges on the steering column that block absolutely nothing if you align them right (though they'll be asymmetric). Unfortunately, I know of no one with plans to make a nice pod for them in that location. I've got mine there in a crappy standard pod until I find something decent.
I just used a $15 autometer cup and mounted it to the top of the lighter/change dish cubby. There's room for a 2nd guage, and I can still fit my shades under them and open the change dish. Better than adding that ugly CF
How does that attach? do you have to put holes in the dash? (probably not a good idea), or does it use 3M double sided tape? where do the wires go?
I saw the pod in TEIN's/ Import Tuner's Time attack X and the pod was double stick taped to the dash (crazy, sticky 3m stuff, was included in the kit by the way). There were some integrated screws, but it was not necessary to use, just an option. The wires ran from the three meters through some cable management system which kept everything clean and out through the back of the pod.
i thought it was a simple install. Prolly the hardest part would be running the wires from the sensors to the gauges.

I know this is a thread about gauge pod options, but I got fed up trying to figure something out. I found this turbo timer / boost gauge by Blitz and had to install it. It's in bars, but bars are easy to convert as .25 bar = ~3.6psi, 1.5 bar = ~21psi. 1.75 bar = ~25psi. It goes up to 2.5 bars.
The turbo timer is cool because it will look at how much boost you're pushing and time the car accordingly. If you are hard on it it will idle for a while. If you are just driving around it won't even do the timer. And everything in between. This is the best thing I've bought for my car so far.
