Who is to say Cosworth isn't having them made in China?

 

If they are they wouldn't distribute from China, they'd do it here. Now assuming they did sell it to the vendor in China the price wouldn't cost less than it would here due to the fact that they have to pay to ship them back over there.

That plus the fact that if you look at the sellers available products he's clearly selling no name/imitation products. Use some common sense folks.

 

In the other thread mentioning these fake Cosworth rails Cosworth said they were not manufactured in China. Cosworth said all parts were made in USA.

I would advise against purchasing these as they could jeopardize your engine. The proper machining is key to the fitment and flow level of the fuel rail. Also our lines come with Goodridge fittings and high pressure lines, this fuel rail may not.

We will investigate this ebay store and sale and take the necessary action needed.

"Fleabay" rails= CACA!!!

 

The guy replied saying its an original and asked for me to inspect it if i want when it gets here, we will see.

 

This is the main reason why i rarely deal with "performance" parts on ebay. Hope you can get your money back quickly and easily from paypal.

We were able to confirm visually that these are fakes, so it will be at the customers own discretion whether to continue with use or purchase of these fake Cosworth fuel rail copies. We would advise against it however.

Thanks to Cosworth for looking into this and clearing it up. Lesson learned - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
