There's another thread about those on here, somewhere. CosworthUSA, which is the Cosworth company's user name, commented that they're not a certified dealer of their parts. Good chance it's a knock off.

It's either a knock off, or an amazing deal, but ~200 under everyone else, I'd be guessing "knock off".

Edit: Link to the other thread.

Just saw they are located in china, something is not right. I tried adding the guy to skype but it says contact does not exist. What is strange is that they have very good feedback.

Yeah you bought a knock off. If anything is being shipped directly from China, it's a knock off.

good luck with the knock off!

frankly I don't understand why people would skim on performance parts.
exterior parts maybe but is that $200 difference worth a damaged motor?

it's not "skimming" when it's a "scam."

Uh, I don't think the OP knew it was a knockoff. Cosworth...I wouldn't consider that "skimming".

Either way you are getting ripped off on that part whether it turns out it is a China junk or if you spend $400 on it from Cosworth.

shanghai china is the fraud, piracy, copy cat capital of china. either way just contact paypal for a refund you should get your money back maybe without sending the product back so u can send it to cosworth.
