i love conspiracies

the MR-T at the mitsu owners day was also GG so... yeah...

What about the GSR? Any change there? If so, then we know it isn't all the SST.

Quote: so the question begs, what do 08's dyno stock on that dynapack?

also mitsu now rates 2010 peak tq at 4000 so 4300 pk tq is more in line with 08's... Hmmm....

PS: Noize is 100% on the money. trap speed > et any day. anybody can have a good/bad launch, but when you trap that high, you packin some punch...
It's Works' dynapack so they probably have quite a bit of data on that. Post tune, my torque peaks at 3300 rpm and stays almost flat through 4500 rpm. Dynapacks tend to be very conservative.

2010 Evo MR Touring Vs. 2010 Taurus SHO
Ok I don't have the actual article, but as i'm walking through Kmart with my wife I pick up Road and Track and am reading it as we're walking through the store... what most of us care about are the numbers though and I found them interesting... the MR has been the slower between itself and the GSR, so they either had absolutely PERFECT track condition, temps, etc or the 2010's are faster somehow... they managed to rip off a 13.2 in an MR Touring!! Vs. the 13.6 of the SHO. 0-60 times were 4.6 for the MR and I believe it was 4.9 or 5.0 for the SHO. Just thought I would share that... maybe someone can find the whole article online.

You can compare both of R&T's data sheets from the 2008 MR to the 2010 MR. It can all be taken with a grain of salt, but for people that want to compare, this would be an easy way to do it.

Quote: DSPORT Magazine dynoed a 2010 MR Touring and it did 320+ at the flywheel... they were saying how the car was underrated from factory. They dyno'd a bunch of other cars and their advertised number where 99% accurate, for example, their GT-R had 480 flywheel horsepower, and on the paper it says 485...
How the hell can they dyno a car and give a accurate flywheel hp give the wheel hp, thats what the dyno does !!! they are just guessing.

It would seem like a logical step to tune the 2010 better then the 2008. I don't think there is any mechanical changes between the two. I have a custom Ivey tune 305 whp/320wtq K & N drop in only, I will be very happy to welcome stock 2010 evo's to the road, 0 - 1
