Thumbs up Quick Oil Drain Valve

Hey Guys,

Has anyone purchased a valve from here? If so which part number is for our cars?

It looks like a pretty helpful tool when changing oil.

I doubt that would be ever a case, unless you physically damage the unit.

I think it is a good idea, but I don't know how the quality is.

Yeah I'm not worried about having it open, I've seen plenty of people who bash their cars run it. I'm just trying to figure out which part number is for our car.

If you're lazy as hell and want to add another possible point of failure to the car. I'll take the extra 30 seconds with a socket drive.

I use to have a similar valve on my old Acura Integra oil pan (stupid dealer stripped my oil pan threads). It wasn't lever actuated but by a plunger on a hose that screws into the valve...still same idea though. I had the Fram Sure-Drain (don't think they make it anymore).

In 11 years of having the valve and changing the oil myself, the valve itself never got damaged at all.

I do believe it is the F106 as stated on the website.
I have the one with the nipple and it is amazing! It definetly keeps the oil changes alot cleaner. Stick a hose on the nipple and drain the oil exactly where you want it. It reduces the chance of missing the pan, and yes i am sure it has happend to everyone who changes there oil. No more strip threads on the oil pan. Quick and easy! Definety worth it. The valve is pretty good, just make sure you close it fully and you should not have any problem with the valve accidently opening cause its spring loaded. I bought one for every car i have own (4 cars). I dont have any experience with the long term effects, but judging by the quality of the valve, this product will last for many uses.

If you hit a bump that high into the nether regions of your car you'd probably want to pull over and take a look anyway. Then drive home and continue to look obsessively!

I agree on not adding another point of failure to the system, but not having to buy crush washers is a plus. I think I'll stick to the old fashioned way, personally.

i think a lot of people are neglecting the fact the crush washers aren't just available from .

plus you can upgrade the crush washer to a reusable hard washer.
