Not another one...

My warranty should be just expiring by this time next year, so I'll have to take my car in riiight before the warranty is officially up so I can get all of the recall and TSB work done. I just need to keep my fingers crossed until that all goes well over the next year.

I hate hearing about these recalls. My car is past the modding point of no return.

If it's a recall, they're required by law to do it for free even after warranty expires.

They have to fix it even if you are past the warranty have mods is not an issue. This is a safety recall not a mod recall. They cannot deny you the recall air bag sensor replacement.

I'm not worried about them denying me the warranty work; I know they can't do that. I'm worried they'll blacklist me and make a record of my mods, which will screw me out of potential future warranty work. I know all about the Magnuson-Moss Act, but I'm still hesitant to roll into a dealer with my mods.

The sensor is probably all of 50 bucks. Just find the part number when it comes out and do it yourself. I know I did that with the fuel line. Hell, look at it as a good chance to do something else as well; fuel line recall is a perfect time to do a fuel rail upgrade

^I thought they only used sand on the roads in Montana, not salt.

lol well **** me.

anyone have any idea of where these sensors are located? I have my boost/wideband wiring underneath the dash and don't want them screwing it up.

Christ... another recall...

I've owned my RA for 6 months now and so far, it's been:

1. Hood latch.
2. Brake booster.
3. AWC reprogramming.
4. Fuel line replacement.
and now
5. Air bag sensors...

This is getting seriously ridiculous.

BTW: for those of you with mods, it sounds like the impact sensor housing wasn't designed weather tight. So technically all u have to do is caulk that **** and it's as good as fixed.

From the looks of the diagram it looks simple but we all know once we get in there and start tinkering around there's always 1 or 2 things that surprise us... I will opt to go to the dealer since I don't want those airbags popping off while I'm driving with my daughter... god forbid..
