Another Evo X recall...
It has something to do with the Airbag sensors...
* Mitsubishi is recalling about 29,000 2008-9 Lancer and Lancer Evolutions
because of a problem with the front sensors responsible for triggering
the front air bags. The automaker told N.H.T.S.A. that in states that
use a lot of road salt, corrosion could damage the sensors and they
would not work properly in a crash.
After Mitsubishi told N.H.T.S.A. that "inspections and analysis revealed
that majority of the issues had occurred in the northern regions of the
country where road salt is used," the agency allowed Mitsubishi to do a
geographic recall. That means Mitsubishi has to recall only the
vehicles in 22 states and the District of Columbia.
Consumer groups have long protested the policy of allowing geographic
recalls, saying it saves automakers money but hurts consumers because
the recall can miss some vehicles that should be repaired. The agency
says the policy works well.
The states in the Mitsubishi recall are : Connecticut, Delaware,
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts,
Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,
Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and
Wisconsin.

You need to be more specific and prepared before posting something like this... or perhaps ask a question about it. Making statements like this are going to cause some people to panic, esp those with children.

lol and if this were the 90s, we would all be quite pleased..
These states are the same ones effected by the SAWC recall IIRC. I am on the bubble, bought the car in one of the effected states, but live 3 hours south into the state line of one of the states that is not recalled.

is very reactive to coming up with fixes in a hurry. Hell, GM would keep selling the same defective ABS software for a decade if they could get away with it.
