HKS M Fire Spark Plugs?
HKS M Fire Spark Plugs?
Decided to purchase a set of these before my tune here in the next week or so. Going to be running a Dom 2.0 on my 08 MR and was wondering if anyone other members here at EVOM are using these Spark Plugs's in there setup? Figured Im running a larger turbo so it might be semi-beneficial to upgrade my plugs?
My set up is as follows:
- Niesi 1pc UICP
- Harman LICP
- Perrin FMIC
- ATP 3" Compressor Inlet & Outlet Adapters
- Blouch Dom 2.0 w/ Forge WGA upgrade
- 1000cc DW Injectors
- Walbro 255L fuel pump w/Jegs Inline High Flow Fuel Filter
- GM 3-Port Boost Solenoid
- HKS M Fire Spark Plugs
- Ultimate Racing Titanium Twin Tip TBE with Long o2 DP & HFC
- Ported Exhaust Manifold
- Bryan@GST Tune on 91
Any insights? Would it actually benefit this setup? Will eventually run E85, but for now its just 91. Reviews or links to a review of these plugs would be great if anyone knows of some (did a search but nothing definitive).
Thanks!

There are few threads about them. Most of them are negative and others just say they're a waste of money. Some people say you have to tighten the gap if you run 30+ psi (they come pre-gapped with instructions to not change it).
I'm personally running them at 25 psi on Okada coils (93 oct) with the standard gap. No problems at all. I'll be going E85 and more psi on Monday so we'll see if that changes anything for me.

The HKS's are re-badged DENSO's... I had two sets of iridium Denso's fall apart in in my Eclipse.
The only plugs I ever upgrade my cars to are NGK's... never one issue with these.
I am upgrading my EVO to the NGK race plugs... about $43 per plug...
