OEM Mitsubishi Remote Start Module

I have been looking at this OEM Remote Start Module that is listed under Mitsubishi Parts.net sub-forum:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...ote-start.html

Has any one purchase / install / own this module? I searched but nothing seems to come up.

Could someone who owns this please share your experience?

Thanks!

That caught my eye, personally; mine was built in Feb of 2008. It's also a GSR, so I doubt this would work, as it specifically says autos/SSTs only.

The antenna look epic

I think it's auto/SST only b/c you have to get a workaround for the clutch in a manual. Does the clutch have to be pressed in on the manuals to start the car? It does in other manual transmission cars. Also, it is illegal in a lot of states to have remote start on a manual car. If you leave the car in gear and try to remote start, it will lurch forward and keep creeping while it is trying to crank in gear.

The new modules for standard cars will not engage the ignition if the car is in gear. They have a sensor for that now. Was an issue in the past but not anymore!

To the OP why not just get a compustar Starter/Alarm/Turbo Timer? All 3 things make life better

No kidding? There is a neutral sense wire now in the ECU? Would you happen to know where that wire is? I remember the WRXs having it...

I had Compustar and various versions of Vipers before... and I have done numerous installations, but it's always interesting to see what the OEM can offer; plus, the ability to keep the FAST key.

No one has it?
