A temporary goodbye
My boss has an '06 Z06, and if I had a choice between the X and the Z06, I'd take the X. Simply because the amount of power that car has, is ridiculous. It's no fun to drive because the rear end breaks loose too easily, even here at a mile up. Too easy to lose control in a corner if you're not careful, even with the traction control on. The car is lightning fast, and gets better gas mileage than the X, but the X is just an all around better car to drive. The X can also pull slightly higher lateral G's. We're talking a couple 100th's.
My boss has had a few issues with it, and it's only got 2500 miles. Clutch is already slipping, and the battery had to be replaced within 6 months of buying it. The car sucks the battery down if it's not started every 5 days or so. The nav system in the car is a joke, and doesn't even read mp3's.
The coolest thing about that car is the HUD on the windshield, and that you can do 0-60 in first gear (if you can keep the rear end grip.)
