this is exactly what ive said since the 2.4 was announced. by nature of its geometry, it would be torquey and not rev happy. put a smallish stock turbo and you have what evo owners lack, tq down low with minimal lag. evo owners have solace in the fact that up high, the eclipse will never live there. and we all know the power that can be extracted from big turbos up top...

Hyundai can just about bury Mitsu in sales, why should/would they help them at all? Mitsubishi is in danger of being the next Isuzu..a good engine manufacturer and maybe commercial delivery truck maker.
