I used to have an RSX as my daily, but I sold it as insurance became way too expensive for that and the GSR. I did enjoy it as the X stayed at home during weekdays. I think it made it more enjoyable to only drive it during certain times of the week.

18k miles and no major problems. daily driven with a tune and cat-back.

the only down side that I really see is the comfort level on long drives (and the massive droning I get from my greddy ti-c at highway speed). and those recaros are only comfortable for so long without any real lower back support.

i have had my evo x for almost 6 months and have almost 9320 miles on it already.

unfortunately i am driving alot for work lately and the miles are racking up quick.
it makes a fantastic daily driver, albiet there are several more "sense able car's" one could choose
that get better gas milage etc. , if you can live with the smallish trunk and don't mind visiting gas stations then you don't have much to worry about.

DD here as well too. The engine actually seems to hold up well. I've had mine a year and have just went over 11k miles. You shouldn't have too many problems from it. Gas mileage is decent and trunk is small like some have said but I can live with that. Engine is good. Don't worry about that part.

The worst part for me is all the money I want to spend in mods. haha.

Gas mileage is decent
What other sedan gets as poor gas mileage as the X does?

O and I just looked and a ford Taurus gets a reported 19-20mpg. For a car that can easily put out 300whp with a tune and simple mods AND is AWD, I would consider the gas mileage decent at worst. Most of us can take it easy on the gas pedal and can get around 22mpg's.

Who would rather drive a Ford Taurus than their X?

this is the best car i will probably never have. here in montreal theres a lot of snow in the winter and this is juste the right car for the job. for sure if you have some back problem forget about the GSR go buy the touring or the MR much much softer.

the only person and the only place in the world where I'M ALWAYS HAPPY is in my car

oh and by the way.. mitsubishi are third in the world for the best mechanical cars....in front of honda and toyota....so yes you will be able to get over 200000km from your evo....should be

Is this a fact? Funny thing considering what happens to gearboxes, pistons, rear diffs...
In some cases even in the stock cars...
200 000km?

Mitsubishi is in the motor making business. Not a whole lot to worry about in that realm. It's everything else that you have to worry about.

Daily drive here through harsh Minnesota Winters and all! Snow/ice sleet salt and all.

20k miles and absolutely no problems yet. 400whp tuned on E85 too. Very reliable so far, even stock clutch still.
