Hi All,

So a piece of flying crap hit me on the freeway and now I need a new fender + mirror. screw you 2009!

I had a look at japan parts and they have a few types of wing mirrors:

1) 70010AL/ 70010AR MIRROR ASSY
2) REVERES MIRROR CONTROLLER
3) WATER REFLECTING SIDE MIRROR
4) WATER REFLECTING SIDE MIRROR (COLD PLACE MODEL)

Now #2 looks like a reverse gear selected controller that automatically tilts the mirror.

Any ideas what #3 and #4 are? Are they replacement mirrors OR just controllers?

Like do I need #1 or can I get away with going for #3? (since #3 is a bit cheaper)

#4 .. heated mirror ..
#2 needs to be programmed into the ETACs

 

Yes that's what I figured.

So #3 is just a glass replacement? or is it a new mirror assy?

 

from the info you gave, #1 is Mirror Assy, pretty much the side view mirror without the mirror.#3 is the replacement glass or mirror.

 

I think #1 comes with the glass as well.

At least thats what the pictures on japanparts.com shows... I guess I will email them to ask!

 

#3 and #4 is mirror replacement on my mitsubishi catalog ..
