Weird stuff happened

So i was driving on the freeway this morning and something odd happened. The car sputtered on partial throttle and went into limp mode (the service engine light came on). I was not on boost at all.

So i drive to the closest place to pull over and shut off the car. After a few minutes, I restarted and the car ran fine. I'm going to pull the code in a few hours. Any ideas though?

I have a tune by GST and TBE (drove fine for 8000 miles no problems)
however i just took the car in for the fuel return line recall and had that done. Would that make a difference?

sounds like a you hit the torque limiter and you need the DTC disable update for your tune if you don't have it.

The code was P1241. Weird that it would only show now 8000 miles later.. and i didn't drive it grandma style in those miles.. Would the mitsu dealership flash my ECU back to stock without telling me? I haven't went WOT for a while as it is winter and i'm on winter tires.
